Welcome to Squirrels Class Page

Our class page also includes F2 newsletters and information you may need. On here you will find lots of information and details about the exciting learning that will be taking place both indoors and outdoors this term.

The early years curriculum is based on learning through exploration and play. There are a number of ways you can help your child to learn and make progress:

  • Always be on time.
  • Good attendance
  • Home reading
  • Point out numbers and letters in the environment.
  • count at every opportunity
  • Talk to your child about the world around them.
  • Ask your child what he / she has been doing in school.

Parental Involvement

We believe that parents and / or carers play a vital role in their child’s education. We will support your efforts at home and provide opportunities for you to engage in your child’s education in school.

Reading

Reading can be a special time for you and your child. Research has shown that reading for as little as 5 or 10 minutes each day can help support your child’s educational development

Forest Schools is on Friday's during the Autumn 1 term.

Children need to come to school in clothes that they don't mind getting muddy and wet. They need to bring wellies in a carrier bag.
